On September 8th, Halsey hosted a private listening event in New York for 100 fans where she played ‘The Great Impersonator‘ in full. Halsey recently sent those who attended some photos and videos from the event which they were allowed to share, some of which you can check out below. Halsey talked about how she stalks everyone on Twitter, Bruce Springsteen, wanting to work and feel authentic, writing about bad stuff instead of good stuff, knowing the songs are heavy but truthful and hoping they speak to fans in an important and meaningful way, writing the album as a coping mechanism because she thought she was gonna die, and how everything she has been through has changed her.

Danica Robinson has shared photos of Halsey on the set of the ‘Ego‘ music video, which have been added to the gallery.

Signed CD variants of ‘The Great Impersonator‘ sold out almost immediately, before Halsey announced it and the emails went out, but a later added standard vinyl with signed insert is still available (at least on the UK site). Get it while stocks last at halseymusicstore.co.uk.
