Halsey cancels For My Last Trick Tour Bangor show

Unfortunately, Halsey has had to cancel her show tonight in Bangor, Maine due to losing her voice and needing to be on vocal rest to prevent injury and recover in time for the rest of the For My Last Trick Tour. Halsey said she is devastated but thanked her fans for giving her grace when she needs it.

Here’s the full text Halsey wrote:

I woke up this morning and voice was just.. gone. I saw my doctor and they said singing tonight could cause injury if I don’t let my vocal cords rest.

So-we have to cancel tonight’s show in Bangor.

I’m devastated. There’s nothing that would keep me off of a stage besides not being able to sing. I would try to push through anything else, but this is one of the situations I can’t.

The good news is that with time to rest, doctors have advised I’ll be able to continue the rest of the tour as planned. Canceling tonight is the only way to make sure that happens.

If you purchased through Ticketmaster, refunds will be issued automatically. If you purchased from a third-party reseller (StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats) etc. please reach out to your point of purchase.

Halsey performed at Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts on June 3rd as part of the For My Last Trick Tour. For the surprise songs, she sang “Lie,” “Roman Holiday,” and “New Americana.” Halsey said this will probably be the only time she will play “New Americana” because she can’t bring out that cringe for anyone but Boston. This is the first time she’s played the song since 2019.

Halsey performed at Northwell at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York on June 1st as part of the For My Last Trick Tour. For the surprise songs, she sang “Castle,” “honey,” and “929” in its tour debut. Halsey changed the lyric “you gotta promise us that you won’t die” to “I’m getting married now.”

Halsey took a moment to talk about how the beginning of pride month is the end of Lupus awareness month and thanked a fan named Ashley, who was in the crowd, for donating her kidney to someone, adding that people like her are heroes and she loves her.

Halsey performed at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 28th as part of the For My Last Trick Tour. She had some technical difficulty with her in-ear monitor during “Gasoline” due to the crowd being so loud. Halsey put on earmuffs afterwards to keep the in-ear monitor in her ears. She performed “3am” with “Hold Me Down” as the surprise song. “Alice of the Upper Class” was skipped again, but Halsey sang “Is There Somewhere” while interacting with the crowd.
