Avan Jogia has kicked off his book tour for his new poetry book, Autopsy (Of an Ex-Teen Heartthrob), beginning at The Strand Book Store in New York. Halsey was in attendance to support him, dressed in a Mad Alice in Wonderland-inspired outfit. Avan’s book is out now in the US but comes out on March 13th in the UK.

The director of Americana, which stars Halsey, has finally announced a release date of August 22nd for the film, which will be distributed by Liongsate. How exciting!

Aging is cruel.
Pages of a book stuck between fingers.
You lick and lick and they stay attached
refusing to peel apart.
Hair like dryer lint, lifting in the wind
whisping away, fragile thing.
A ghost of years past
and on your face, the betrayal of truth.
Hubris washed off, and confidence broken.
Heart in shambles, the failures of relationships end.
Jobs lost and children angry.
Revealing the lonely ranks of insecurity.
I know nothing.
I am nothing.
I never was.
You are nothing too
but you posture, with your youth.

Halsey has shared on her Instagram stories that she and her family are safe from the Los Angeles/California wildfires:
Myself Ender Avan and the fam are all safe and evacuated.
We had just moved into a new house in a new neighbourhood, and had a bad feeling. Unfortunately, that feeling was right.
If I’ve missed your messages I’m sorry, we have been trying to get a handle on some things, people and organisations that need our assistance right now.
Honestly.. can’t even wrap my head around this. Glued to the news as I’m sure most of you are as well.
