Halsey shared a heartfelt Instagram post for Mother’s Day alongside some cute new photos. She wrote:

had the loveliest Mother’s Day with my not-so-little boy yesterday, made beautiful and possible by @jogia 💛 I got lots of sweet gifts but the best one was Ender reading me an entire book cover to cover for the first time. I just sat there in awe, like my whole body was frozen with pride and connection and delirium at how quickly time flies. I became a mother 4 years and 10 months ago. At first, everything changed and I thought I’d never be myself again. Then, slowly, I felt it all settle back into place. I was arrogant before I had my son. I thought I’d be able to handle the changes and new demands effortlessly. I thought I was “built different”. But I was quickly humbled by the crashing realization that I’m actually built the same as everybody else. And it would exactly as hard for me as I had heard from so many other moms it was for them. Once I learned to embrace it and let go of my tight grip on needing control, it got a lot easier. It’s not the path that everyone wants or needs, but for me it was so right and so important. I love being a mom. It requires that I believe in magic.

On April 3rd, Halsey attended a “Our Hero, Balthazar” Screening with Avan Jogia at AMC The Americana at Brand 18 in Glendale, California. Halsey co-produced the film with manager Anthony Li.
