Until ‘The Great Impersonator‘ releases on October 25th, Halsey will be impersonating a different icon every day and teasing a snippet of the song they inspired. Day #3 is PJ Harvey who inspired track 10, ‘I Never Loved You.’ Halsey said this song cuts deep and also announced that it’s coming out tomorrow (October 10th) as the next single. Halsey shared on her Instagram that she “VMA week-ed too hard” and now she’s having a Lupus flare-up. “Treatment today and a mandatory rest day so I don’t spiral. New normal.”
She said of her butterfly-shaped rash that “the butterfly has always been my special symbol. how ironic and poetic it has come to mean this.” She also joked about her lupus giving “blush rush,” aka the new liquid blush under her about-face beauty brand.
