Halsey has shared two new posts on Tumblr, expressing how mean their fans are, which makes her feel uncomfortable to be in online spaces. Read the posts below:

My own fans are hands down meaner to me than any other people on the planet. Not speaking for all of you, of course. But it used to be just a minority that were awful to me and now it seems like a majority have only stuck around to chime in occasionally with their opinion of how much they hate me or how awful I am. it’s hard to want to engage in a space that is completely devoid of any kindness, sympathy, patience; or to be honest human decency. Especially after years of hiding from the interactions for fear that this EXACT thing would happen. I don’t know man. I almost lost my life. I am not gonna do anything that doesn’t make me happy anymore. I can’t spiritually afford it.

When I got sick all I could think about was getting better so I could come back and be a part of THIS again, but I don’t even know what *this* is anymore and I want to crawl in a hole and I regret coming back.

Anyway. I’m on my way to a PET scan. And uploading lucky stripped. Because this is the insane irony my life has become.

I’m a person. Not a character in a music video.

Halsey has released a new clip from her upcoming ‘Lucky‘ music video, which continues to reference Britney Spears.

Halsey has announced the music video for ‘Lucky‘ is directed by Gia Coppola and will be released this Friday, July 26th. Based on this information and the posters, it should be a long music video. A teaser will follow tomorrow. Who is excited???

I wrote a lot about what I was going through. I felt like I couldn’t tell anyone, though it was mostly my choice to not. but the weight of it all and looking at my life wondering if I was happy with who I was. While simultaneously changing against my will. more on that later lol

yes of course! I wouldn’t even dream of doing it without her blessing!

The End 🙂 I updated some of the lyrics as my life changed. Believe it or not it was a lot sadder before haha. but it’s mostly the same as the very first voice note

so basically, I tried to take a break for some privacy. And then I got sick. And the break lasted 2 years longer than I had wanted/intended. and I was just desperate to do the thing I love again. It’s different now. But I still love it and I have so much gratitude.

I worked the most with Michael Uzi and Alex G both who I adore. They had already worked together on Frank, so we all folded into an awesome rhythm that was full of experimentation. and then Greg kurstin who I alwayssss work with and would die for
