Unfortunately, Halsey has had to cancel her show tonight in Bangor, Maine due to losing her voice and needing to be on vocal rest to prevent injury and recover in time for the rest of the For My Last Trick Tour. Halsey said she is devastated but thanked her fans for giving her grace when she needs it.

I woke up this morning and voice was just.. gone. I saw my doctor and they said singing tonight could cause injury if I don’t let my vocal cords rest.

So-we have to cancel tonight’s show in Bangor.

I’m devastated. There’s nothing that would keep me off of a stage besides not being able to sing. I would try to push through anything else, but this is one of the situations I can’t.

The good news is that with time to rest, doctors have advised I’ll be able to continue the rest of the tour as planned. Canceling tonight is the only way to make sure that happens.
