Halsey shared on her Instagram that she “VMA week-ed too hard” and now she’s having a Lupus flare-up. “Treatment today and a mandatory rest day so I don’t spiral. New normal.”
She said of her butterfly-shaped rash that “the butterfly has always been my special symbol. how ironic and poetic it has come to mean this.” She also joked about her lupus giving “blush rush,” aka the new liquid blush under her about-face beauty brand.
